Account for all of the good things in your life during this present time. Right now, your life may not be perfect...maybe even far from ideal. But I can almost bet that there is something good. And good things don’t last forever.
If ever there was a time in my life that I truly felt “I was made for this” it was the days of baby snuggles and nursing my child. I enjoyed that season of my life- it was pure bliss.
And then cancer came knocking on my door and I found myself quickly weaning my child in preparation for surgery and left wondering if mothering any other children is ever to be a part of my future.
I don’t allow myself to be a victim to these circumstances (at least, not for very long) because well, cancer or no cancer, I’d have to face this grief for I can’t go on having babies and nursing them forever!
Find the beauty in this season right now because once it’s gone, it’s gone!! No doubt there’s going to be plenty of other seasons of new and wondrous things but it won’t be this season ever again!

In the weather and the flower, God has carved Human Life.
A reminder that it won’t always be sunny and it can’t always be time to bloom.
But if one thing is true, it is this: He is the Maker and Redeemer of it all.
