Over the summer I was asked to complete some illustrations for a nursery. This is the first time I’ve ever been commissioned for something drawing related and I have to admit-there was a good amount of fear when it came to this task! The whole reason I ever got into drawing is so that one day I could illustrate stories and this was my first chance to apply what I’ve learned so far. I’m so glad someone had faith in me before I ever did. I really pushed myself to finish these and learned a lot- about the illustration process and my style and how to manage a project while having a newborn baby! Here are the finished pieces:
