I’d be lying if I didn’t admit that parenthood is a refining, purifying fire. Walking that line of raising a child who pursues goodness and obeys and loves God, all while embracing and nurturing his individual personality (that can be oh so different from my own) comes at a great cost.
There is a culture war on motherhood. We live in a society that thinks the things in life shouldn’t cost anything...but doesn’t that make it all the more worth the while? I’m finding those things most dearest to me are absolutely worth the sacrifice.
