As I woke up this morning, I was immediately barraged with worry. Then I pulled out my phone, and I was bombarded with envy. I hadn’t even stepped out of bed and a heaviness was already weighing me down. Life can be such a battle, you know?
But then I heard my son talking to himself in the next room and I’m reminded that it’s worth fighting for.
We fight by searching for beauty, the sweet whispers of hope that modestly await our attention.
So I pack away fear, say good bye to discontent- they are not welcomed companions on this trip.
Here’s to seeking the Light, the graces afforded to us- for the love of the Lord is on our side 💕
